How we solved it
- Built a custom Policy object from scratch, linked to Opportunities, managing full policy lifecycle from placement to renewal
- Extended Salesforce to support additional lines of business
- Built a full commission and revenue calculation framework: percentage fees, flat fees, co-broker splits, with a calculation method selector per deal
- Rebuilt the renewal process as an automated Salesforce Flow: users select policies to renew, adjust details, and a new Renewal Opportunity is auto-generated with cloned Policy records
- Built a full dashboard suite matching existing reporting: pipeline, renewals, closed won by carrier, revenue by line
- Configured automated task processes for account management workflow
- Delivered full UAT sessions and admin documentation for team independence
